1. To get started, you can try the free version of the app as advertised on the website. Try PREP on yourself for FREE.

2. This will allow you to see the questions and answers for yourself before considering patient use.

3. Once satisfied with PREP’s value, you would access PREP by clicking ORDER PREP on the header and entering your PIN number.

In essence, while new regulations aim to ensure practitioners provide safe and competent dental implant care through comprehensive assessment and documentation, the PREP™ app provides the specific tool to systematically carry out these requirements, particularly in the complex area of dental implantology.

1. Fill in your First Name, Last Name, Gender, and Weight. This will automatically make six questions appear.

2. Click each question separately to reveal a list of up to 10 medications or medical or dental conditions. The default answer for each is "NO."

3. If you have any of the listed conditions, click on it so the space turns blue, indicating a "YES" answer.

4. Once you' have completed the questionnaire, sign to confirm the accuracy of your answers. The results will be automatically sent to the treatment provider's email.

5. A receptionist will print a copy of the answers for the treatment provider prior to the treatment provider seeing you. This gives the treatment provider the opportunity to refresh his/her knowledge about your medical problems as they relate to dental implants, provide you with a comprehensive informed consent, as well retain permanent documentation to protect both the treatment provider and you, should disputes arise

Hit Try PREP on yourself for FREE and a registration form will appear. Fill it in and submit. You will be sent an email containing your pin number.

1. Go to simplersolutions.ca.

2. Click on any "TRY PREP on yourself for FREE" to open the Registration Form.

3. Fill out the form and click Save. You'll get a confirmation with your personal PIN number via email, which you'll need for the next step.

4. Click ORDER PREP in the header to access the PREP Access Form.

5. Enter your PIN, then click Submit Pin and Continue to open the Patient Risk Evaluation Questionnaire (PREP).

The PREP™ app, developed by Dr. Harold Bergman, is currently offered with two free trials, allowing you to test on yourself and on a potential patient.

Further usage will cost $34.95 per patient, or monthly subscriptions offering unlimited usage for $99.95 or yearly subscriptions offering unlimited usage for $695.00.
